Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Pastor Courtney L. Sinclair is the son of the late Evangelist Margarett Sinclair and the Late Mr. James Cobbs.  Pastor Sinclair is married to his lovely wife, Mrs. Chicas (she-caz) Sinclair and the father of four precious daughters, Yahana, Pae’ton, Taylor, and Loghan. Pastor Sinclair was saved at the age of 12 at St. Emmanuel Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastors Vornia and Ora MaGahee.  Since the age of 15, Pastor Sinclair has been preaching the gospel and has developed a special love for people and ministry.  He has served in many capacities within his jurisdiction, district, and local church’s evangelism, music, youth, men, and Sunday School Departments in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) to name a few. Pastor Sinclair preaches and teaches under the anointing of the Holy Ghost on real life experience; persuading people to give their lives totally to God. Pastor Sinclair holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University and he is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry (DMin.) from the Interdenominational Theological Center’s Charles Harrison Mason Seminary. Pastor Sinclair has helped thousands of people with substance abuse and mental health issues with pending cases in Milwaukee County Court System.  He has also served as a Social Worker in the Milwaukee County Child Protection Services, helping many children and families in the State of Wisconsin.  He currently serves as a Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator at Brighton Hospice.  In December of 2023, while in the process of planting a new church in Milwaukee, WI, he was asked by his uncle Pastor Bobby L. Sinclair to continue his legacy and serve with him as Executive Pastor and subsequently as his successor as Pastor of the Community of Grace Baptist Church.

Pastor Sinclair is on a mission to tell a dying world about a living Christ and to preach the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ to all.  As a dedicated husband, loyal father, a soul winner, pastor, and churchman, Pastor Sinclair is determined and committed to reflect the glory and character of God in all areas of his life.

Auxillary leaders

Our Auxiliary Leaders are vital members of the Community of Grace Baptist Church leadership, dedicating their time and talent to ensure the smooth, effective operation and spiritual growth of our various ministries and departments.

Auxiliary Leaders serve as the hands and feet of the church's vision, working closely with the Pastor and other leaders to support the specific functional areas of the church body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ministry Oversight: Providing direct, focused leadership, direction, and organization for specific auxiliary groups (e.g., Ushers, Greeters, Men's Chorus, Youth Ministry support, etc.).
  • Operational Support: Managing the logistical and practical needs of their designated ministry to ensure successful execution of all planned activities and events.
  • Team Development: Encouraging, training, and motivating team members within their auxiliary, fostering a culture of dedication, service, and spiritual maturity.
  • Vision Alignment: Ensuring the activities of the auxiliary are always aligned with the core mission and strategic goals set forth by the Pastoral Leadership.

They are instrumental in turning our church's vision into practical, impactful community and worship experiences.
